0A3 / 02X Gearbox VSS Hall Sensor & Bracket

Our VSS sensor kit is designed to provide a digial VSS signal for use with the 0A3 or 02X gearbox which does not have provision for a VSS sensor.

Coupled with our 0A3 VSS trigger ring, this Hall-effect sensor provides a digital output [low side] pulse, 8 per wheel revolution to replicate the factory signal output from the 01A or 01E gearbox in order to provide the correct VSS signal for ECU, TCU or dash operation when converting to the 0A3 or 02X gearbox.

Connector Pin-out:

1 - 12v Reference

2 - Sensor Output

3 - Ground

The connector is plug & play  with the 01E equipped vehicle harnesses, however in some vehicles only pin 2 and 3 are populated - in this instance, a 12v supply must be intoduced at pin 1 of your vehicle's harness VSS conenctor. If this is the case, please advise us and we will include a loose terminal or terminated pig-tail FOC.
