Audi C4 Tandem Brake Booster Conversion Kit
Our tandem brake booster conversion kit allows you to fit a modern and much more powerful tandem (dual stage) brake booster to your URS4/6 or other C4 platform car.
Our kit includes
Offset extended pedal clevis machined from 34CrNiMo6 / 4340 / EN24T & zinc di-chromated for corrosion resistance
High tensile booster fixings
M12x1 SAE brake line fittings for 4.75mm / 3/16 (standard size) brake lines
Brake fluid reservoir level sensor connector & terminals
In addition you will need:
A suitable tandem booster, master cylinder and reservoir.
Single stage PAS pump or modifications to the existing tandem pump to disable the brake-assist stage.
We supply new TRW (OEM) parts to complete this conversion.
Late S4 and S6 models equipped with the factory strut brace will also require our C4 S6 Strut Brace Spacers to raise the strut bar to clear the reservoir cap.
Suitable factory boosters may be taken from the following model platforms: B6, B7, B8, C6, C5 RS6, C6, C7, D3.
It is important to take the booster & master cylinder from the same model variant as there are several combinations of components and not all are compatible.
