Our front strut top-mount retaining nut is a Grade 10 all metal prevailing torque flanged lock nut.
These are a preferred option to the commonly used Nylok nuts as unlike Nylok, the locking feature is not depleted on the first torque cycle. These all-metal lock nuts can be safely reused up to 5 times.
