Our 60-2 rear main seal kit allows you to convert your 5cyl 20v to a modern 60-2 trigger system using an OEM Volkswagen rear main seal cartridge which integrates a 60-2 pattern trigger wheel and dry-running Teflon radial crank seal into one package.
Our kit includes the seal cartridge with integral trigger ring and hall-effect sensor, mating connector kit as well as a cable clamp to help secure the sensor lead to the block to avoid fouling the flywheel.
If the trigger ring installed in it’s supplied orientation with cylinder 1 at TDC, the first tooth angle is approx 80deg BTDC.
