0A3 / 02X Gearbox VSS Trigger Ring [B3/B4]

The 0A3 or 02X transmissions do not have provision for an on-board VSS (Vehicle Speed Signal) sensor, instead factory cars equipped with these transmissions used a wheel speed sensor to provide a VSS feed into the cars various electronic systems such as the ECU, TCU, and dash instruments.

Wheel speed sensors cannot be used on the legacy systems due to an incompatible tooth count.

Our 0A3 / 02X VSS trigger wheel provides the all important VSS signal when converting your older chassis car to use the 0A3 or 02X gearbox. Combine this sensor with our 0A3 / 02X VSS Hall Sensor to provide a plug in solution for your 01A and 01E equipped car.

The trigger wheel also acts as a spacer to correctly offset the left driveshaft to the correct length for fitment into the B3/B4 chassis.

This trigger wheel forms part of our 0A3 Gearbox Conversion Kit which also includes the necessary gear shifter linkage and gearbox mounting brackets.
